Giftedness exists. And when we ignore the needs of gifted children, and treat giftedness as anything less than a lifelong journey, we not only do a disservice to the special needs of these people, but to the entire planet, which could surely benefit from the innovation, talent and creativity, with which these individuals could literally - change the world.

Gifted begins at the beginning
Gifted doesn't begin with grade school testing or start and stop with a school bell. Recognition of very young gifted children is important if parents are to understand why their child seems different and how to best cope with these differences.

Gifted children have special needs
Gifted children have special needs that should be understood and attended to for optimal emotional health and development.

Gifted is for life
For gifted children to grow to their highest potential and to live as fulfilled human beings, we need to support them for who they are - even when that means finding outside the societal box solutions.
